Israel's Suffering
Jacob and his sons, the twelve tribes of Israel, have all died off. There's a new sheriff in town, I mean pharaoh, who has never heard of this generation. He began to worry because the Israelites grew stronger and mightier by the day which is a testimony of what God can do in the lives of His children. This is only the beginning of what God has in the store for the Israelites. Join me as we journey together through the Book of Exodus.​​




Moses is born and sent down the river only to be discovered by the Pharaoh's daughter. By God's mercy, Moses's mother is paid to nurse her own child. In this chapter, Moses kills an Egyptian. Although he deserves death, God would meet him in his mess and begin to develop the skills needed to become a great leader. Hang on for the ride! ​

Exodus 3
God tests Moses at the burning bush and reminds him of His holiness. All throughout the Book of Exodus, God keeps having to prove His holiness to His people. In many ways, we are the same way. We want God to rescue us when times are hard but continue living a life apart from Him when times are good. I challenge you to seek God first and watch everything else fall into place.

Through faith, we believe in Jesus. But even the demons believe there is one God according to James 2:19. What makes Christians different from nonbelievers is our continual faith in Jesus. As our faith in Him grows, so does our spiritual walk. Faith helps us to Dwell with Him and rely fully on God knowing our strength cannot carry us through.




Have you ever thought that God made you special? You are unique and so are your gifts. He gave you the skills needed to serve him. What you choose to do with those gifts is up to you. It is honorable and respectful to give our gifts back to God to pay tribute to His Son, Jesus, for all he did for us on the cross. Then, God receives all the glory and praise for the gifts he gave us. When we get to heaven, we will receive crowns for our acts of service while on earth. The exciting part is that we will take those crowns and cast them at the feet of Jesus.




Pharaoh's dreams are driving him crazy, and he can't seem to find anyone to tell him their meaning. Suddenly, the Pharaoh's butler remembered how a Hebrew man in prison interpreted his dream along with the chief baker. Pharaoh has Joseph pulled out of prison to interpret his dreams. Joseph reminded Pharaoh that all interpretations come from God. His ability to interpret Pharaoh's dreams placed him in a position to provide grain for the land of Egypt. God showed great mercy to a sinful nation through Joseph and his new position.

When God placed Adam and Eve in the garden, He gave them one command to follow: "Do not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil" (Gen. 2:17). Instead of choosing eternal life in Paradise by eating from the tree of life, they allowed pride to rule in their hearts and ate from the tree with the forbidden fruit. Because of their disobedience, we all face are condemned to death in a place called Hell, but there is hope through Jesus Christ.




God placed Adam and Eve in a place known as paradise, the Garden of Eden. They had everything at their fingertips: one another, animals, plants, trees, water, food. God's love for mankind if on full display in Genesis 2. Join us as we dive into the beauty of His holiness and discover the goodness of our Heavenly Father.
