I love people! My husband says it is apparent my energy stems from loving people and building relationships. A good friend once told me I should be the Public Relations Representative at our church.
I simply adore people, but I will always love Jesus more!
It took me thirty years to realize that to pour into others through writing and speaking, my cup first has to be filled. Speaking can feel exhilarating at times, but spending quiet time in God's Word fills my cup to the brim.
My goal is to lead women to a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and help them see He is all you need to overcome in this life.
As many of you know, August 17th changed my life when I was told I had Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). As I learn that cancer is a marathon, not a race I also want to encourage others to continue shining a light in the midst of darkness.
I do not believe we should ever stop sharing the light of Jesus; regardless of our current conditions. The enemy may slow us down, but he cannot shut us up!
Genesis 50:20 reminds us all that what the enemy intended for evil, God can use for good. If you know of someone who needs hope and encouragement while fighting cancer, feel free to share my Caring Bridge page.
I will also try to keep my blog updated on this site. I am also putting the finishing touches on my latest devotional book, Made to Shine: Carrying the Light of Jesus to the World. God is on the move!
