I love people! My husband says it is apparent my energy stems from loving people and building relationships. A good friend once told me I should be the Public Relations Representative at our church.
I simply adore people, but I will always love Jesus more!
It took me thirty years to realize that to pour into others through writing and speaking, my cup first has to be filled. Speaking can feel exhilarating at times, but spending quiet time in God's Word fills my cup to the brim.
My goal is to lead women to a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and help them see He is all you need to overcome in this life.
When my doctor called on August 17th and said, "Mrs. Sparks, we believe you have leukemia," I was shocked! I replied, "God is still good, and I trust that He is still in control."
My doctor agreed, and I spent the rest of the afternoon crying in my office. My official Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) diagnosis would come the following week.
Throughout this battle, God has revealed to me that my circumstances have changed, but His faithfulness remains the same. My setting may have changed, but His mission to shine a light in others' lives has not.
